KRUMPENDORF. This swimming event “Wörthersee-Swim-Ice” is now taking place for the second time. Over the past few years, winter swimming has become a popular swimming sport and is enjoying increasing popularity. Countless events relating to this sport take place worldwide every year. The event, certified by the International Ice Swimming Association, offers short distances of 50 m and 100 m, extreme distances of 1000 m and the “ice mile” of 1609 m. On February 17, the long-distance competitions will be swum: 1609 m / 1000 m / 500 m. Conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The short-distance competitions will be swum on February 18th. Conducted from 09:00 – 15:00
