State area: the state organizations are composed of four federal ministries:
Federal Ministry of State Defense and Sport
The BMLVS is made up of the various departments of the Ministry of Sports, which is responsible for sports subject matters, public relations, sports funding and young talent. Another part of the BMLV is the red white red team in which the 500 best competitive athletes in Austria are located and are specially promoted. The last part of the BMLV is made up of the Army Sports Center, which appears primarily through grants in top sport.

Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture
The BMUKK is responsible for the agendas of school sports and focuses on schools with sporting training, schools for competitive athletes, school competitions and school sports measures. Furthermore, there are federal sports academies that offer training for sports teachers or trainers.
Federal Ministry of Health
Logo Fond Healthy Austrian Fund Healthy Austria was created in 1998 on the basis of its own law and offers a nationwide contact and funding agency for health promotion and prevention. In addition to practice -oriented and scientific projects, the focus is on further training and networking in the health sector.
Federal Ministry of Science and Research
The BMWF is responsible for university sport in universities and universities of applied sciences. In the central university sports committee of Austria there are seven university sports institutions in Graz, Innsbruck, Linz, Salzburg, Vienna, Leoben and Klagenfurt.
