On September 6, we members of the Panathlon Club Primorska Slovenija took part in the 41st Isonzo Regatta, an event that is much more than a simple descent along the emerald river. For decades, the Isonzo Regatta has brought together people from both sides of the border. And this is precisely the heart of Panathlon: sport, friendship, fair play, respect, and unity among people.
On a raft you quickly understand something very simple: it doesn’t matter who you are or where you come from. When a rapid arrives, we all have to paddle in the same direction. Perhaps this is the most beautiful message of the day.
The Isonzo has no borders. Sport has no borders. Friendship has no borders.
