Medal-winning athletes at the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 will stand atop podiums, the ultimate symbol of performance, inspired by the iconic works of Gustave Eiffel, thanks to a collaboration between Worldwide Olympic Partner P&G and the Paris 2024 Organising Committee.
For the athletes taking part in the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the podium itself is one of the first places they will celebrate their success. By participating in the podium manufacturing, alongside Paris 2024, P&G has reiterated its commitment to supporting athletes on a daily basis in their quest for performance and the celebration of their greatest sporting achievements.
The podiums were unveiled at the Organising Committee’s Pulse headquarters in Saint-Denis. The event was attended by Tony Estanguet, President of the Paris 2024 Organising Committee, President and GM of P&G France and Benelux Béatrice Dupuy, and French Para triathlete Alexis Hanquinquant.
Once again showcasing the creativity of Paris 2024, the podiums feature a design inspired by the famous metal arches created by Gustave Eiffel, which can be seen in the lines and curves that adorn the podium’s facade. Two colours were chosen for the podiums: grey for the surfaces, in reference to the zinc roofs of the Paris skyline, and a discreet off-white to allow full focus on the athletes and Para-athletes and the celebration of their winning performances.
