Martina Vozza wins the Super G Vision Impaired World Cup

Sella Nevea, 10/03/2023

The international jury has decided to cancel the Super-G scheduled for Sunday from the program and to have only the two Free Downhills skipped yesterday and today run.

Consequently, the Super G specialty Cup, in the Vision Impaired category, belongs to Martina Vozza and her guide Ylenia Sabidussi, both bearers of the Asd Sport X All Hans Erlacher Team, while the other blue Chiara Mazzel and the guide Fabrizio Casal finished in second place, ahead of Slovakian Alexandra Rexova.

A triumphal conclusion for the blues, a partial compensation for the fate of the eighteen-year-old from Gorizia. Which she could not have competed in these finals following the serious injury suffered a month ago in Saalbach (Austria), which occurred just after having crossed the finish line as winner of the race which in fact, today, awards her the cup. And that’s not all, because Chiara Mazzel is also one step away from the crystal trophy of the Downhill.
