Ironman Austria

Almost 3000 athletes from 60 nations come to Ironman Austria in Carinthia to enjoy that very special feeling: “I am an Ironman”. The event has now achieved cult status and is one of the most beautiful competitions of this kind in the world for the participants. 3.8 kilometers are swum through the warm Wörthersee. The 180.2 kilometer cycle route then leads through the picturesque landscape of mountains and lakes in Carinthia (1,680 meters in altitude) before the marathon along the lake and through the city center of Klagenfurt.
